Estimating whether there will be more licence plates ending ih even or ending in odd numbers in a given time space How to play this travel game: ~ each child has a piece of paper, a pen and a sturdy surface ( can be a book or laptray) ~ agree a time limit for the duration of the kid game ( 10 minutes is a good start) ~ Explain the rules, and let one kid count even numbers and one kid count odd numbers ticking them as they go along ( swap at the next game) ~when the time is up count the number of car licence plates they spotted Fun Options: ~ for older kids make it more difficult ~ ie spot all licence plates that have the last number as odd but also contain the letter "A" etc ~ spot only trucks and lorries with odd /even numbers ~ for travel games for toddlers use colors, count who can see the most red/blue cars etc, let an older kid take notes		~ if are traveling with children that are into numbers see who can add the numbers up the fastest in the license plate game ~ older kids can subtract or multiply too, or a combination of both
